Dance Shawls

Every lady ought to have at least one dance shawl. They are elegant, practical, feminine and fun. All the ladies of the tribes we are aware of either carried a shawl or a blanket and in the dance circle the preference is for a fancy dance shawl to imitate the grasses of the plains as you gracefully dance or if you have the energy to "fancy dance" like the young and young at heart.

My shawls are made of many fabrics - wool, fleece, cotton and blends. The fabric is 60"x60" unhemed. The fringe is 14" tied and usually of a comlementary color. The fringe is not color fast so be forewarned to take good care of your shawl to keep cleaning to a minimum. Some women have success gently washing their shawls in a pillowcase and air-drying them or have found a good dry cleaner.

All my shawls are $55.00 unless otherwise noted. If you have a piece of material you'd like made into a shawl I could hem and fringe it for $40.00.
