Gourd Art

Our gourds are grown locally or in the southwest where the climate and longer season allows thicker shells and larger gourds to grow. Gourds are a practical and durable fruit that allows a resourceful person to produce many useful items. We make RATTLES, BIRDHOUSES, WATER DIPPERS and CONTAINERS FOR TOBACCO OR OTHER HERBS from a variety of gourds. Price depends on the size of the gourd and the amount of decoration. Most Gourd items cost between $10.00-$20.00. They make a nice gift too.

Unwashed gourds are also available so you can make your own gourd art.
